Acknowledging Youths provides a complete a support programme for the recruitment and employment opportunity. We have successfully finished 7th projects with DWP to help young people to develop their confidence, self-esteem and enhance their chances of finding and keeping a job.

Belina are specialists in supporting lone parents get back to work. education and training, using our programme Get Ready for Work GRoW. 90% of the people we work with are women, 70% from BAME communities. We offer focused, enjoyable, structured group sessions and IAG – with crèche. Key strengths: engagement and retention: We work with children’s centres across London to engage people. We have a documented 85% retention rate. Independent evaluation tracked parents over 5 programmes: 75% responded: 30% moved into work within a year; 24% were volunteering, in full time education or training; 45% went on to work with an adviser to support them into work. We go to where parents are – their local community. We have hubs in Newham, Hammersmith and Lewisham – and can work in any London Borough. Highly commended at the national employability awards for innovative services for parents.

Best Practice People Limited

Working in London Boroughs falling in Kent, Essex and Surrey, we offer fully funded training for volunteers, employed individuals and unemployed individuals, including NEET’s. Typically we offer skills to achieve an improved employment status and income. These range from vocational qualifications, such as Digital Media, IT, Retail, Warehousing, Hospitality, Logistics) to Maths & English.

Our goal is twofold, to help individuals grow themselves through skills development, and to help businesses economic growth through up skilling their staff

Blue Sky is an award-winning charity that solely employs ex-offenders for 6 months and offers them a package of rehabilitation support whilst with us (training, housing support, mentoring and jobs brokering). We operate over 20 commercial contracts around London and anticipate having more than 100 vacancies to offer ex-offenders this year alone. We have a track record of successfully delivering ESF programmes in the past – notably being part of London Probation’s PIANO programme where we achieved all the employment and training outcomes assigned to us. We are also currently a specialist provider to Reed and A4e on the DWP’s

Construction Youth Trust is a charity helping young people in England and Wales to build better futures by giving them access to training, education and employment opportunities in the construction industry.
We support young people whose journey to work may be challenging due to barriers such as financial circumstances, lack of awareness of opportunities, low self-esteem, gender or ethnicity.

We inspire and support young people with a passion for construction through education, practical work experience and employment brokerage.

We work in partnership to deliver free courses that provide practical work experience as well as careers advice.

Enterprise CUBE

Enterprise CUBE was created to bridge the gap between disadvantaged people and business, promoting entrepreneurship at a grassroots level. We are a small and dedicated team, currently supporting over 400 people a year in their start-up ventures. We work with local and national community based organisations, who commission our courses to help increase their clients’ self-employment opportunities. We have extensive expertise in enterprise and specialise in developing skills and achieving self-employment outcomes with a wide variety of clients’ groups and needs. We would bring a proven training scheme and excellent team to any partnership.

Family Psychological Services UK is a charity based in South East London. We provide low-cost counselling and psychotherapy to adults, couples, families and children. We also offer parenting workshops. We work closely with Children’s Centers, GPs, IAPT and schools to offer and promote counselling for adults and children. As part of this partnership we will extend our work and provide sessions at various other locations.

Future Path

Future Path currently deliver services in 8 London boroughs:

Barnet, Brent, Camden, Ealing, Hammersmith & Fulham, Harrow, Hillingdon & Hounslow.

We are embedded within each local authority and DWP, delivering from co-located premises including jobcentres, council buildings and community venues.
We have excellent and current relations with JCP, local authorities, the West London Alliance and other stakeholders. We bring a high quality employment support service that is outcome-focussed, but using a highly supportive delivery style.

Gingerbread

Gingerbread offers quality services that support unemployed and economically inactive customers to move closer to the labour market and improve their financial circumstances. We are recognised as the experts in supporting this customer group, using our experience to help single parents overcome their barriers to employment. Our employment support programmes consistently support in excess of 55% of participants into work. We have also developed a number of programmes which specifically support young single parents with their particular needs and challenges. These programmes achieve positive progression rates of between 70% – 80%.

GSS UK Ltd, is a current provider, pan London, of National Careers Service, which involves giving Careers Advice and Guidance to a wide range of priority customers, and offering continued support into work / learning. Additionally our background is as a Recruitment Agency, and we are expert at brokering effective links with relevant employers across the capital, and working with employers to recruit candidates we put forward. We also provide in-work support to both the customers and employers in order to facilitate smooth transition into work and optimise sustainability and progress.
GSS are looking to work with a Lead Provider, and a diverse delivery supply chain, to contribute our recruitment and careers guidance expertise to achieve and maximise job outcomes, sustainability and progress.
