Acknowledging Youths provides a complete a support programme for the recruitment and employment opportunity. We have successfully finished 7th projects with DWP to help young people to develop their confidence, self-esteem and enhance their chances of finding and keeping a job.

Action for Children is a large national charity with a long history of supporting children, young people and families. We have a presence across London, with a range of work including young carers services, short breaks for children with disabilities and services for children in care. We are keen to use our nationwide expertise working with children, young people and families in areas such as youth employability and training, supporting families to be work ready and helping young people with disabilities access the job market through the Building Better Opportunities funding, and are interested in being either a Lead or Delivery partner.

We are a not for profit cycling social enterprise. We have put that we are pan London as we work and can work all over London. However we have our main bases in Tower Hamlets, Waltham Forest and Hammersmith.
We are a not for profit social enterprise focused on creating a more diverse cycling community, improving mechanical skills and developing greener businesses.
We are able to run All Ability Clubs or Cycling for Health programmes.
We are also able to train people to become bike mechanics. We have an excellent record of supporting people into work, with around half of our trainees going on to find work.
Blue Sky is an award-winning charity that solely employs ex-offenders for 6 months and offers them a package of rehabilitation support whilst with us (training, housing support, mentoring and jobs brokering). We operate over 20 commercial contracts around London and anticipate having more than 100 vacancies to offer ex-offenders this year alone. We have a track record of successfully delivering ESF programmes in the past – notably being part of London Probation’s PIANO programme where we achieved all the employment and training outcomes assigned to us. We are also currently a specialist provider to Reed and A4e on the DWP’s
The Bromley by Bow Centre is a dynamic innovative East London charity transforming the local community and lives of its residents. We partner with GPs, registered social landlords, schools, Children’s Centres, community groups and commercial organisations to provide a holistic approach to supporting people. Our unique model of integrated services ensures people get the full range of support needed in one place tackling immediate and longer term, deep-rooted issues. We support over 2,000 people a month to improve their health and wellbeing, learn new skills and move into work across a wide range of thematic from; traineeships, pre-apprenticeships and paid apprenticeships; careers guidance, brokering over 100 into paid employment to ESOL and Digital Skills.
Charity and company limited by guarantee; also a academy school/ apprenticeship training provider. We run 2 women’s projects, youth provision, a family centre and 4 social enterprises.
We work over several sites including Canary Wharf, where our school/training centre, enterprises and family centre are, we have 2 women’s projects in Stepney and Poplar and run youth provision for the City of London.
City Gateway works to improve the skills and life chances of disengaged young people, disadvantaged families, and vulnerable and isolated women. We run award-winning Vocational Training/Apprenticeships Programmes (working with a range of corporate business partners); two (primarily BAME) Women’s Projects; and a Children & Families Centre for early years intervention work.
City Gateway also founded an alternative provision free-school, City Gateway AP, which now operates as a separate but affiliated organisation. It has around 400 pupils aged 14 – 18 and operates on the site at Mastmaker Court, E14.
We have strong cross-sector referral partnerships with education, community and statutory agencies and 15 years’ experience of engaging hard-to-reach communities and progressing individuals with serious safeguarding issues into education, training and employment. We have significant grant and contract management experience and can demonstrate high quality impact of our services across engagement, retention and progression of learners.
Community Links is an innovative inner city charity that has a long history (over 14 years) of running successful employment and training projects across several funding streams (including SFA, DWP, ESF). We provide non accredited learning that works on motivation, confidence building, body image, job skills and time management. Once this is completed we support our customers into education, employment, enterprise or training including work tasters and support and advice on money management, housing and childcare. We offer employability skills as well as personalised one to one support. We provide not only the skills, but the confidence, resilience, networks, and the sustained backing that our customers need as they set out to grab every fulfilling opportunity.
Create Jobs is an employability programme providing new routes into the creative industries for disadvantaged young people, aged 16 – 24, living in East London. We work with young people, employers, training providers and referral agencies to deliver a high quality training and brokerage service, leading to paid apprenticeships, paid internships, traineeships and work placements for young people in the creative industries.
We have a detailed knowledge of and access to creative industry employers within London. Create Jobs can offer support in engaging these employers and creating new roles for the target groups prioritised by the Building Better Opportunities programme.
We provide free and confidential generalist advice in Hackney, Newham and Tower Hamlets. We are an independent charity and member of Citizens Advice. We also provide training to individuals, voluntary, private and public sector bodies. We are lead providers of Hackney Money Smart, a financial capability and money advice project for social tenants in Hackney and we work with partners to deliver free and confidential advice in local Children’s Centres, GP surgeries, hospitals, libraries and community centres. We provide training and volunteering opportunities for local people in generalist advice, administrator, research & campaigns and financial capability trainer skills and run a popular volunteering programme. We are delivery partners for the ASTF project which provides advice support and training to local voluntary sector organisations in Hackney. We have experience of working in partnership with other voluntary sector organisations, private and statutory sector bodies, as both lead and delivery partner. Our management team are all experienced in project development and delivery – we also have support from our national organisation.
