London Voluntary Service Council (LVSC), based in Kings Cross, brings voluntary and community sector organisations together to learn and share best practice and to create a co-ordinated voice.

Full Time, 35 hours per week

Based in London

Salary £34,383.00 pa inclusive of Inner London weighting plus pension

LVSC’s vision is of a vibrant and sustainable city where the lives of Londoners are enhanced through voluntary and community action.

We are now looking for the right person to take forward our policy and capacity building work on employment and skills. LVSC provides a collective policy voice for voluntary and community sector groups carrying out employment and skills work in London, a forum of groups to share intelligence and best practice, and support for organisations looking to develop their networks and skills. The post holder will be expected to influence key stakeholders in the public and private sectors, including in relation to the forthcoming Work and Health Programme. The post will also oversee the delivery of the European Social Fund programme VCS Assist 2.0 which provides support for VCS employment and skills providers in London to access ESF.
