Shaw Trust Call for Partners – Work and Health Programme

Shaw Trust is a leading national charity working to create brighter futures for the people and communities we serve. Our vision is for a society in which everyone has the opportunity for employment, inclusion and independence.

We provide employment opportunities, skills development training and health and well-being services across the UK. We operate charitable social enterprises, retail shops and run a diverse chain of academy schools via our sister organisation Shaw Education Trust.  As a charity, we add value to every service we deliver by investing back into community projects such as our social enterprises and national volunteering scheme.

As the largest Prime provider of DWP’s Work Choice disability employment contract and through the delivery of DWP’s Work Programme and NOMs Offender Rehabilitation contracts, we understand the importance of working with a diverse network of suppliers from the Private, Public and Voluntary sector to ensure the best possible outcomes for our customers.

Opportunity

Shaw Trust has been shortlisted in five Lots under the DWPs Umbrella Agreement for Employment and Health Related Services. We are the only charity to make it through to this stage.

This means that Shaw Trust is now able to tender for the DWP Work and Health Programme in the following areas: Central; North East; Southern; Home Counties; and Wales. In addition to these areas, London will be commissioned separately.

We would like to hear from like-minded organisations interested in working alongside Shaw Trust to deliver exceptional levels of service to Work and Health Programme customers. We have a range of partnership opportunities available across all Lots (including London) and are particularly interested in hearing from organisations that combine a deep understanding of the communities they work in with a track record of high performance working with similar customer groups.
