London 2014-2020 ESF Programme – Update
Gang Prevention Programme
The SFA has launched a further round of procurement in London covering the gang prevention strand of the ESF 2014-20 Programme.
The programme aims to deliver innovative provision focused on identified learners in Pupil Referral Units (PRUs)/Alternative Education Provision (AEPs), who are vulnerable to becoming involved in gangs and serious youth violence and support them into positive outcomes.
The tender was published via the SFA’s Bravo Solutions e tendering portal https://skillsfundingagency.bravosolution.co.uk.
The ITTs have been issued to all candidates who have already submitted a successful response to The Register of Training Organisations refresh for the delivery of education and training services, candidates passing delivery of Information, advice and guidance as at September 2015, and the recent Register publication as at February 2016, and indicated that they were interested in delivering:
- In the London LEP area
- Education and vocational training to individuals 15-24 identified as NEET or at risk of becoming NEET.
- candidates passing delivery of education and training and selecting the following options:
- 16-18 apprenticeships
- 19-23 apprenticeships
- Skills for Life
- Pre-employment training
- Community Learning
- Skills support for the unemployed
